Takeaways from Volunteers Victory over Texas A&M

Gig em Vols… did i do that right? Please tell me I did... Anyway, the Vols go on the road and beat Texas A&M 68-54 with a solid offensive output. Here are my three main reactions.
OFFENSE - Bob Vescovi, or you may also know him as Santiago, posted a career high 23 points on 8-13 from the field and 6-10 from three. Freshman Jaden Springer posted 10 points on 5-6 from the field and almost racked up a double double with 6 assists. Fulkerson posted 11 points on 4-7 from the field as well. As a team, the Vols shot 58% from the field and 38% from three. They also had 23 assists on 27 made shots.
DEFENSE- The Tennessee defense was selfish once again, only allowing A&M to shoot 34% from the field and 34% from three. They also finished with 6 steals and 5 blocks.
CONDOLENCES TO JAMES- As you may have heard, Josiah James’ childhood home caught fire the other night, either before, or right after the Arkansas game. I would like to send well wishes and prayers their way.
The Vols next game will be on the road against South Carolina on Tuesday night. That game tips off at 7 pm and will air on ESPN2.
