After locking up the best recruiting class in school history for the upcoming season, Tennessee fans are finally paying attention to basketball recruiting and are looking forward to the 2021 season. With a stacked class and the #1 player, Johnathon Kuminga, reclassifying, we’re going to take a minute to talk about a player I believe could possibly be coming to Knoxville.
Harrison Ingram. He’s is a 6’6 small forward from Dallas, Texas. Ingram is the 15th player in the country. 247sports compares Ingram to former college standout, Kyle Anderson. Ingram plays what many people call “old man” basketball, he’s not the most athletic guy in the class but his skill set is unmatched. It seems to me that Ingram would set up well in Rick Barnes offense, considering most think he plays a very aged offense. Barnes, also likes to play a lot of pick & roll style, which would work to Ingrams advantage considering he can change speeds easily with or without the ball.
Recently, Texas A&M has picked up speed in their relationship with Ingram, but don’t count out the Vols. I believe Kennedy Chandler’s decision will play a major role considering he’s the nations best PG coming in next season. So hopefully Harrison Ingram will be in the orange and white next season! We’d love to see it.
