From early predictions, the Missouri Tigers were a -6 point favorite. However, that’s down to -1.5 point favorite as of now. So many questions circle the Vols ahead of the matchup with the Tigers this Saturday.

Who will start at QB?         •       Tennessee Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt said on Monday that all 3 QB’s would get equal snaps this week during practice; it seems that coach doesn’t want to give up a gameplan. After the way JG has played the past couple of weeks, I predict that he’ll get the nod behind center (which he’s earned after his recent performances—a stark contrast to the Vols at the beginning of this season).

How healthy are the Vols?   • Jeremy Pruitt also said on Monday that the Vols are as healthy as they’ve been in a long time. Hopefully the entire offensive line will return in full force after dealing with injuries the last 4-5 weeks. It seems Bye Week really helped the Vols and it just so happened to come at a wonderful time.

Which Kelly Bryant will the Vols see?   • Prior to the season, Bryant was the hottest transfer behind Justin Fields and Tate Martell. Bryant has shown flashes of excellence and disappointment throughout the season. Bryant has been dealing with a hamstring injury since the Kentucky game. He looked halfway decent against Florida, but the Vols didn’t score a touchdown against the tough Gator defense.  Hopefully the Vols see the not-so-good Kelly Bryant and the Vols bring their improving defense to the game. It’ll be a very intriguing matchup.

Prediction: Tennessee 24 - Missouri 14. I really think the bye week is going to help the Vols this weekend. We all know the Vols have only won once in this series in the last 6 years which isn’t very promising. However, Missouri is trending in the wrong direction, possibly giving UT the edge as the Vols continue to show improvements every week. I think JG has his confidence back and can manage the offense well enough to come out on top. The Vols are coming out on top this week! GO VOLS!
