The Kentucky Wildcats open their 2020 campaign tomorrow morning in Auburn and all throughout the commonwealth there is a large buzz that the wildcats can come out Saturday afternoon with a win. The last time these two teams faced off was in 2015 with Auburn winning 30-27. I think we will see a similar result in 2020— only with a different winner. The wildcats will beat the tigers, 27-24 in an exciting game. However, the wildcats enter the contest as a 7.5 point underdog, so for all you sports betters, do yourselves a favor and take Kentucky at +7.5.
The borderline sports staff predicts the scores
Dylan Saylor: Auburn-31 Kentucky- 17
Dallas: Auburn- 28 Kentucky-14
Dylan Ballard: Kentucky-27 Auburn-24
Offensive MVP: On this side of the ball, the MVP will not be one player, but three— the UK RB core. AJ Rose, Chris Rodriguez Jr., and Kavosiey Smoke should prove to be one of the top backfields in the country, they all rushed for over 500 yards last season and combined for 1,975 rushing yards collectively. Defensive MVP: On defense, look for Jamar “Boogie” Watson to make life hard on the Auburn offense. Watson lead the SEC last season in sacks and was named to the Bednarik Award watch list for 2020.
