Transfer Cade Mays to Tennessee

Cade Mays former 5 ⭐️ once committed to the Volunteers who chose Georgia is coming back home to join his brother Cooper Mays. Per ESPN reports and multiple sources around the program Mays is returning to his hometown Knoxville to play for Jermey Puritt.

Depending if Trey Smith returns this offensive line could have four 5 ⭐️ lineman on it next year.

Cade Mays started all 14 games for Georgia while he was there with Kirby Smart.

With that being said unless Cade receives a waiver, he will have to sit out the 2020 season due to NCAA transfer rules. Which is very possible with the family situation but you never know the NCAA. Either way it’s a huge get for the Vols.

P.s. His father Kevin Mays was a Vol for Phillip Fulmer back in the day. So, no surprise that both mays brother find their way to Knoxville.
